In our testing the highlights were clear: full UniFi Network with IDS/IPS for $129, no fees; gigabit inspection throughput in a palm-size box; proper VLANs, firewall rules and traffic insights; manages a whole UniFi ecosystem as you grow.
It is not perfect — no WiFi — pair it with access points; uniFi’s learning curve is real for first-timers. For most buyers in this category those trade-offs are easy to live with, but weigh them against your setup before you click buy.
