Why we recommend it
If privacy is your main reason for a VPN, Proton is the one we trust most. Its no-logs claims have been independently verified, which almost no competitor can say, and the apps are open source.
The paid Plus plan is fast enough for 4K streaming, and the free tier is a genuinely honest way to try before you buy. Watch the renewal price after the intro term — it nearly doubles.
